A quintet of charming vintage clowns become circus animals, transform into a human calliope, do the classic circus mirror routine with a twist, perform a number of preposterous "entrées", make live music and sound effects, and execute a very satisfying slow motion number involving a pie!

PREPOSTEROUS! premiered in the summer of 2017 at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival, has been performed at The National Theater as part of their Saturday Morning series, has toured to Celebration Barn, Camden Opera House, Stonington Opera House in ME, Waterfront Museum Barge and Howland Cultural Center in NY, Highland Center for the Arts in VT, The Foundry in Western MA, and regionally in MD, DC and VA.
